Sex Therapy
Specialised professional counselling that addresses sexual concerns, sexual functioning, relationships, and communication.

You may be experiencing a concern not listed here. Whatever is troubling you, I am happy to make an appointment regardless of whether your issues are sexually related. Clients have told me how helpful it is to speak in confidence with someone about their concerns often for the first time, which can feel empowering and a relief.
EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) is a Medicare-approved psychotherapy that uses bilateral stimulation to process traumatic memories. It helps individuals remember rather than relive trauma, reduces distress, and enhances self-esteem, resilience, and confidence. EMDR is effective for PTSD, depression, anxiety, phobias, grief, and can aid in overcoming sexual difficulties stemming from trauma, fostering positive self-beliefs and improved sexual satisfaction.
General Counselling
Counselling is offered for any issue that is worrying you and does not have to be sexual. I have provided counselling and emotional support to people for over 25 years in different healthcare settings. Much of my social work practice has involved trauma counselling, grief and loss support, and crisis intervention with empathy and respect for my clients and their lived experiences.
Do you provide couples therapy?
No, I only work with individual people. For couples therapy please click here.
Telehealth sessions
Sessions can be provided either in person, by video, or by telephone. As a Medicare-approved provider of psychological services, I can offer rebated sessions if you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP. Telehealth can also be provided without the need for a GP referral which is an ideal way to access counselling if locality or accessibility is problematic for you.
