Sex therapy
Sexual difficulties can be difficult to talk about and affect the way we feel about others and ourselves. Sex therapy focuses on how to resolve your concerns in a supportive, non-judgemental way by providing a safe and comfortable environment to explore positive resolutions so you have an enjoyable sex life.
EMDR therapy
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) is a Medicare approved, evidence based psychotherapy using bilateral stimulation to reprocess images and memories of traumatic events. EMDR therapy can help traumatic memories to be remembered rather than re-lived, reduce the intensity of distressing thoughts and feelings and improve self esteem, resilience and confidence. EMDR therapy has been used to treat a variety of mental health concerns including PTSD, depression, generalised anxiety, panic disorder, phobias, social anxiety, grief and loss. EMDR therapy may assist in treating sexual difficulties that arise from traumatic or negative experiences and help to install positive beliefs about yourself leading to enjoyment of sexual pleasure and a more satisfying sex life.
